Education
I graduated from SUNY Geneseo with my B.A. in Psychology. I also had a minor in Mathematics. My overall GPA was 3.96. I then got my Masters in Education from the University of Minnesota where I got my degree in Special Education specifically Autism Spectrum Disorders. My GPA was a 4.0. I am now doing my Ph.D. at Indiana University in School Psychology.
Experience
During my undergraduate years, I volunteered in a tutoring program called America Counts. This was a tutoring program for students in grades K-6. I was a behavior therapist for a child with autism during my masters for one year. I worked with a 4 year with autism conducting Discrete Trial Training and other behavioral techniques. I have taken coursework in elementary math education, autism spectrum disorders, reading instruction, assessment and intervention for individuals with special needs, applied behavior analysis, and much more!
